About the Captain
Local Captain Emilio Villarreal began charter fishing in 1989 out of Jim's Pier South Padre Island, TX. There he improved his skills by fishing with an elite group of fishing guides. Now you can find Emilio Villarreal docked at 5809 Padre Blvd. on the south side of Troy Giles Realty in South Padre Island, Texas.
Some of Emilio's tournament wins include the Ernest Hemingway Billfish Classic in Key West Florida fishing aboard the Windcrest. TIFT tag and release Billfish Champions aboard Team Buena Suerte. The Shallow Sport owners Tour Team Grand Champions, 2nd place winners in the Bisbee's Black and Blue Tournament, and 1st place in the Jackpots aboard team Hang Em High in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
Emilio has also fished internationally in such places as Ghana Africa, Madeira Portugal, Panama, Bahamas, Honduras, San Andrea Columbia, Costa Rica, and many ports in Mexico.
As a Bay Guide Emilio targets redfish and trout. However if you want to target a fish that "airs out" then ask about Tarpon and Snook fishing.

Emilio's Fishing Service Charters
Emilio's Fishing Service offers guided bay fishing trips in the lower Laguna Madre operating out of 5809 Padre Blvd. on the south side of Troy Giles Realty in South Padre Island, Texas. He targets redfish and trout on light tackle but snook and tarpon trips are also available upon request.
Fishing trips consist primarily of drifting and sight casting. All tackle, bait, water, and ice are provided for you during your trip. Recommended items to bring are Texas Fishing License (required), hat, sunscreen, and polarized glasses. |

The 22ft Mejek Illusion is a very dry and comfortable boat with lots
of fishing room and storage, it offers plenty of space for 4-5 people,
to fish and move around the boat comfortably.
